I voted for Hillary in the primary, however------
I'm still undecided, however, it isn't for the reasons that you might think. I thought the speech was great! I applaud him for speaking what most middle/lower class black and white Americans had in this minds but couldn't articulate it. He touched on all the major subjects -- and did an excellent job of letting us know how we all got to this point in race relations ---------- then he finished. He didn't deliver a solution, other than to tell us to all come together to beat back the corporate elite who have trod us down for 8 long years.... and longer if you go back to the beginning of the "K Street" project!!
Senator Obama I think has the wherewithall and the cajones to be our next President, however, does he have the capacity to encircle himself with those who WANT to solve the problems of the country, not politicize the solution? I believe that he can find those folks, however, most will require being pulled, kickin & screaming, into the 21st century of thought- we can all get along and we all have the same aspirations-- food on the table, roof over the head, safe & educated children, honesty in business. Again, he didn't provide any hard evidence of any solutions, other than "come together and we can solve this". How exactly?
I just posted the above over at www.dailykos.com as a diary.
I just don't know about this man. I'm not against him, but I do have some reservations.
And what's up with Fox News. 3 times tonight 3 different tv hosts have invoked 9/11. What seems to be up with them and 9/11? Anytime they can't come up with a good excuse the Republican spin machine trots out 9/11.
